Atlas Plastic Moulding has been manufacturing plastic parts for industrial & commercial industries for as long as we have been in business. Over many years we have become specialists in the production of aircraft windscreens, boat windscreens, train windows, camera domes, aircraft plastics, moulded sign faces, points of display and much, much more. In fact, we can mould plastic for any type of commercial or industrial application that is necessary.
Over the years we have taken on numerous local and international projects including manufacturing security windows for the NSW rail system, supplying hard coated polycarbonate windows for the Tangara trains in Sydney, producing square domes for the largest space frame roof in Australia at Collins Place Melbourne, exporting over 20,000 plastic security parts to the Peoples Republic of China and plastic roof glazing to the world’s largest masjid in Islamabad Pakistan.
The range of materials that are available to us is constantly changing. The development of well used material such as polycarbonate, acrylic, and ABS that have mixtures and coatings to enhance their performance is increasing all the time. These materials are tailored for specific applications. As they get more exotic, they get more expensive.
So, when you hear someone say ‘it’s only a bit of plastic’, rest assured it’s a bit more than that.
